Choosing a man-made product gives you total control over the shape, finish, and style – if you would like plain stone, fine grains, coarse grains, or veins, we do not need to source the perfect stone, we just make it for you.
Durable
All Silestone worktops come with a 25 year warranty, but we expect the worktops to last far, far longer than just 25 years. Silestone is mainly made out of natural quartz, which is incredibly strong – many people associate quartz with jewellery (primarily made from rose quartz, smoky quartz, or citrine), but you can enjoy the beauty and durability of quartz in much larger areas of your home. The material is also stain resistant, impact resistant, and chemical resistant. Silestone matches or exceeds granite in all areas apart from fire resistance and UV resistance.
Versatile
Silestone worktops are moulded into a particular shape rather than being machined or carved – this means that you have more options available when it comes to the size of slabs, finishes, or details. While many finishes and details are physically possible with granite or natural stone, the workmanship and time required to achieve the design can make the cost prohibitive. The process of making Silestone worktops offers you considerably more options for the same budget.
Made to Your Specifications
You have total control over how your Silestone worktop looks. If you want a consistent, perfect finish with even graining and colour, it is guaranteed. If you prefer a more natural look with veins running through the stone, it can be created. As part of the design process, we will work with you to choose a base tone (light grey and white, cream and beige, dark grey and black, pink and red, green, or brown) and add styling (plain, veined, fine grain, or coarse grain) and then finishes, including polished, suede, or volcano.
